FROM THE FIELD TO YOUR SYSTEMS
Follow every measurement on its journey.
A probe, a gateway and three example repeaters: watch the data reach the cloud and, from there, mobile phone, tablet, smartwatch and PC. In parallel, the gateway sends it to the server with archive and PC in the offices and to the other software (M2M). In case of overtemperature or low temperature, the gateway generates the alarm after receiving the measurement and sends it to the connected destinations.

Repeaters: optional, depending on the size of the area. In a small area the probe can communicate directly with the gateway, without a repeater. To cover larger areas, install enough of them, even many, based on radio coverage and obstacles. The three shown are just an example.

What does NovaCold monitor?
NovaCold monitors the air temperature in fixed environments such as cold rooms, warehouses and laboratories. The solution integrates BTW-AMB wireless probes, communication network, gateway and cloud platform for consultation in real time.
Does the BTW-AMB probe also measure humidity?
The standard measurement is the air temperature. Relative humidity is available with an optional additional sensor, exclusively on request. To choose the configuration you can describe the environments to monitor.
Do the probes have a datalogger function?
Yes. The BTW-AMB probe integrates a datalogger function that records measurements over time, as well as transmitting them to the collection system. The recording characteristics are defined based on the project configuration.
How do temperature alarms via WhatsApp work?
You can configure minimum and maximum thresholds. If the temperature drops below the minimum threshold or exceeds the maximum threshold, the system can generate a alarm of low temperature or overtemperature and send a warning via WhatsApp, according to the expected configuration. Follow the path in the simulation.
Can other software read data via Modbus or MQTT?
Yes. M2M integrations via Modbus TCP and MQTT allow data exchange with third-party systems. Other protocols and flows can be evaluated and developed upon request. Discover data integration.

Data collected, purposes and legal bases
The form collects your name, email, company (optional) and message to answer enquiries and prepare proposals. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Providing data is optional, but we cannot process enquiries without the required fields. The form does not automatically subscribe you to newsletters or marketing.
Browsing and security
Systems may process IP addresses, requested resources, timestamps and technical browser information to deliver and protect the site. The form uses a local CAPTCHA, a session and anti-spam limits based on identifiers derived from the IP address. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in security and proper operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). There are no automated decisions with legal effects or advertising profiling.
Technical cookies and external services
The form uses the technical session cookie novacold_contact for CAPTCHA and request protection; it lasts for the session. No analytics tools or advertising cookies are integrated. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts: your browser contacts Google servers, transmitting the IP address and technical request data, which may be processed outside the EEA. External websites reached through links have their own privacy notices.
Recipients and retention
Enquiries are emailed to ordini@novabase.it and handled by authorised persons. Hosting, email and technical support providers may process data to provide their services, including as processors where applicable. Data is not publicly disclosed. Enquiries are retained for the time needed to handle them and any subsequent relationship; further retention is limited to legal obligations or the protection of rights. Technical data is processed according to operational, security and abuse-investigation needs.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability where provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to info@novabase.it.
